Ready or not. Most of us aren’t.

That’s the finding behind Nomio’s report, and it’s the reason for this breakfast.

Twenty-four senior in-house lawyers. One table. One curated discussion about what AI is actually doing inside legal functions right now: what’s landed, what hasn’t, and the things people tend not to say on a panel.

The numbers are the starting point. Half of in-house legal teams lack the capacity to adopt or use AI tools. Only 38% say AI has actually reduced their working hours. Only 24% can find every signed contract. The distance between what AI is supposed to be doing and what it’s doing is where this conversation sits.

The In-House Legal Table invitation: Tuesday 17 November, 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at SUSHISAMBA City, hosted by Sophie Best of Best Advisory and Ed Stennett of Nomio. 93% of in-house lawyers are using AI for their legal work, 62% say AI has increased their working hours, and 24% can find every signed contract.

Who’s in the room
General Counsel, Heads of Legal, Legal Directors and senior in-house counsel. By invitation, and in-house only: we’re keeping law firms and vendors out of this one so the conversation stays candid.
