About the integration

Docusign connects to Nomio through Docusign Connect. When an envelope is signed and completed, Docusign sends the signed documents to Nomio, where they arrive in the Loading Bay ready to be processed.

By default, the integration covers signed documents created by users in your company’s Docusign account. You can limit which users or groups send documents to Nomio when you configure Docusign Connect.

Security

Docusign signs each message with an HMAC signature. During setup, you generate a secret key that allows Nomio to verify that every message it receives is genuine before accepting the documents.

The connection runs only when an envelope is signed and completed, and the configuration sends the signed documents themselves. Nomio accepts documents created through your company’s Docusign account only when the sender also has a Nomio user account.

“The Docusign integration is really good. Any contracts that are signed with certain Docusign accounts automatically make their way into Nomio.”

Frequently asked questions

The API, MCP, and all native integrations are included on every plan.

A Document is a single file. An Agreement is a collection of Documents that relate to the same legal agreement. (Documents are organised into Agreements when it is processed by Nomio.)

Yes. Your data is encrypted both at rest and in transit. Data at rest is protected with industry-standard AES-256 encryption, and all data moving between you, Nomio, and our infrastructure travels over TLS 1.2+. This applies to your live data and to backups alike.

Encryption keys are held in a managed key-management service with strict access controls and regular rotation, and our cryptography controls are independently audited as part of our ISO 27001 certification. You can find more detail in our Trust Centre.
