Polishing turds

You can’t polish a turd.

Files and folders are fundamentally insufficient for contracts.

They can’t model the relationships between contractual documents and their constituent obligations and data. If you can’t do that, your information is going to be wrong no matter how accurate your individual data points.

The solution is not to build more functionality on top of files and folders. It’s to build a better world for documents.
