Hi, I’m Josh from Nomio, and I’m the only person in the world who has spent the last seven years of their life doing nothing but building and maintaining contract repositories.
Let’s get into it. Here, we’ve got a really big white rectangle, and we’ve got a small red dot.

The white rectangle is all of your contracts, all of the words across all of the pages, and the red dot is the relevant information for answering a particular question that you have, like, ‘Which of my active customer contracts have termination for convenience?’ You don’t need most of the text across all of your contracts to answer that question.
But, when you take AI, and you just stick it on top of your big mess of contracts, on top of your file system, what happens is that AI has to go through this entire big white rectangle, has to go through the whole haystack just to find the needle.
And this has three really big problems. One, it’s incredibly expensive, because you pay by the word. So, you’re having to pay for this entire big rectangle, when you could just be paying for this tiny little dot.
Second one is that because you’re throwing so much noise into the machine, you’re going to get much worse answers. There’s going to be way lower accuracy.
You’re likely to miss key information as well. And then the final reason, you have no guarantee of security when you just have AI directly on top of the file system.
You need a layer in between that makes sure that the right people see the right stuff. And any questions that they ask AI, that AI is also subject to exactly the same permissions as the person asking the question.
And this is a big part of why Nomio exists. Because we take your contracts and we turn them into a highly structured, super accurate database.
We’re able to build AI on top of your contracts in a way that other people can’t, because what we do is we essentially shrink the haystack before the AI ever sees it.

So that when you ask a question, we’re only passing the information to the AI that it actually needs in order to answer your question.
So your answers are going to be far cheaper. They’re going to be much better. And they go through all of our permission system to make sure that no one sees the wrong information.
So, let’s try it out. We’re going to click the new Ask AI button.

‘Which of my active customer contracts has termination for convenience?’

And we’ll just wait a minute while…
OK, there we go. 25 active customer contracts.

We can click through to any one of these, and we can even click on the information here. It’s 45 days, and it’s going to show us the exact context.

It’s going to show us exactly where that information came from, so that you can actually trust the answer. So to make sure that everything is correct, I’m just going to go find termination notice period, add ‘Has some sort of value’, which means there’s termination for convenience, and we’ll just filter ‘active customer’.
And yes, sure enough, we have 25 agreements. So I’m very confident that we’ve been given the correct answer there.

By the way, you can also do all of this from ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or any other tool that you’ve got that supports MCP.
So up over here, we’ve got a Connect Nomio button.

That’ll take you straight through to a guide that shows you how to connect Nomio AI to your other tools. Let’s try it out.
OK, we’re in Claude and I’m going to ask a question about Nomio’s own contracts, rather than a demo account, which I just showed you.

So let’s ask something like, ‘When is the renewal date for our HubSpot contract?’

It’s looking at all of the ways that it can ask questions about Nomio.
And we’ve got 20th of September 2026. And it’s even told us we’re auto renewing for 12 month terms.

So let’s just go and check in here. I’ve already filtered down to HubSpot. Sure enough. If we go and find the renewal date, 20th of September 2026. And this is actually a really special one because this is information that isn’t actually directly in the contract.
This is information that had to be calculated from other information that was in the contract, like when the contract starts, what the initial term is, what the renewal term is.

And because Nomio does these calculations for you in advance, it means that we’re presenting pre-verified information straight through to AI, rather than it having to go through all of the text of the contract, find all the pieces that it needs to put together, and then hope that it pieces all those pieces together.
This is now live, so please do go, get your hands dirty, and come back with a whole load of feedback so we can make the product much, much better in response to everything you have to say. Thanks, bye.
I got so excited that I forgot to show you something else, so I’m just going to slip that one in here now. Our AI doesn’t just look at the data points we’ve captured, we also can look through the entire text of the agreement.
So I can ask something here that isn’t answered just by our data points, so I can say something like, ‘Is there a liability cap and are there any carve-outs?’

And we will just wait a moment. There we go. And we can go and click on any one of these and it’s going to take us to that exact part of the agreement.

And you can see what the AI has been up to through this little trace here.
